Visions and the IDD community is letting it be known that we must stand together in defense of our health care and for our human rights. The House of Representatives already passed the devastating bill that would result in an at least $625 billion lost for services if it also passes in the US Senate. The current bill would severely limit programs like community-based and home-services for people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, support that also hurts their care givers. The chance to live independently and other freedoms and rights are endangered by this unconscionable bill that now goes before the US. Senate.
